Power Plant Use Telescopic Flange Butterfly Valve With Electric Actuator

DCL electric actuated telescopic flange butterfly valves are widely used for replacement of gate valves to cut off flow. The face to face length of the butterfly valve is adjustable.

Flange gate valves are more expensive than butterfly valves in same size. Multi turn electric actuators are also more expensive than quarter turn ones in same torque. At many industry fields, customers want to replace gate valves with butterfly valves for flow control. But the structure sizes of gate valves are different to butterfly valves. Also, for field replacement, even after precisely measurement of the pipe flange connection size, some mistakes are still possible there. So telescopic flange valve are widely chosen by customers to avoid valve’s failing installation. The flexible telescopic flange can be compressed within a certain range to match with kinds of flange length.
